Judith’s Art can be reflected in her Artist’s Statement: “Nature seldom displays true splendour at the road’s edge. One needs to venture beyond the shoulders, guiderails and fences to uncover the riches within. From the Blue Beech and Sassafras to the White Pine and Tamarack, each Ontario Woodland offers her own particular brush stroke to the provincial mosaic.”
The Artist is a Member of The Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour, Markham Group of Artists, Varley Art Gallery of Markham, Latcham Gallery and Markham Arts Council. She has been honoured with the Achievement and Civic Recognition Award for Arts and Culture by The Town of Markham, and The Canada 125 Commemorative Medal by The Government of Canada. In 2000 she was awarded The Founder’s Award by the Directors of The Varley Art Gallery of Markham and in 2002 was made a Life Member of The Gallery.
The Varley Art Gallery of Markham honoured her with Judith Livingston: 25 Years in Markham. This Solo Exhibition "Weaving Leaves and Water" September 18 - November 9, 2008 brought together 40 Works of Arts created during her 25 years in Markham.
